Empower children and adults verbally
Programme for Schools
The Programme for Schools is intended to work within an education setting focusing on literacy and communication projects and is designed to use drama and the arts as a tool to empower children and adults verbally. The aim is to tap into all areas of education from early year to university level, to engage, encourage and develop literacy skills, improve focus and participation.
The Programme for Schools lessons are similar to Drama Kids lessons but have been adapted to fit the needs of a school or education setting with strong links with the National Curriculum & OFSTED requirements. Here are just some of the Programme for Schools workshops we have on offer.
Gain a greater emotional awareness
Anti-Bullying Drama Workshops
At Drama Kids, we are passionate about ensuring all children and young people feel safe, comfortable and included but we also know it can be difficult for educators to manage instances of bullying at school. These workshops are designed to show children the impact bullying can have and to gain a greater emotional awareness and understanding overall. We tackle the tricky topic of bullying in an engaging, fun and positive way to encourage conversations and broaden perspectives.

Introducing Shakespeare
Shakespeare Workshops
Bring the art of Shakespeare to life through creative drama workshops, for all ages. Introducing Shakespeare to students is such a joy and the curriculum has been designed in such a way to make them feel reassured, inspired and motivated.
Shakespeare Week is held every March and is a national annual celebration giving primary school-aged children opportunities for enriching and enjoyable early experiences of Shakespeare. It is one of the pathways to Shakespeare provided by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, for people of all ages and stages of interest.
Drama Kids has been running these themed lessons now for some years, each year introducing a new play and theme so students can look forward to a different, enticing experience each year.
Our Shakespeare workshops focus on:
